External Examining at St Mary's University College
As an External Examiner for St Mary's University College you will need to submit an annual report following the Programme Board of Examiners at the end of the second semester/ academic year using the form below:
Expense claims can be made using:
NB. The annual report should be submitted by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
and any expense claim should be posted to the Quality Assurance Office at St Mary's University College.
Undergraduate and PGCE external examiner reports should be submitted by 31st July and postgraduate reports by 30th November, following the final programme examination board.

External Examiner Nominations
The nomination form needs to be completed by the Programme and signed by the Head of School. The eligibility form must be signed by the nominee and returned with a copy of their CV. Please can you ask your nominee to include any programme/ module leadership and design experience in their CV.
Both forms and the CV should be forwarded to the Quality Assurance Office for submission to VRC. The criteria for the appointment of external examiners is included in the Quality Assurance Handbook on page 28.
