External Examining at St Mary's University

External Examiners for St Mary's University will need to submit an annual report within three weeks of the final Programme Examination Board for the academic year using the form below:
NB. The annual report should be submitted by e-mail to qateam@smuc.ac.uk. An original signed expenses claim form and all associated receipts should be posted to the Quality Assurance & Enhancements Office, at St Mary's University, for processing.

External Examiner Nominations

The nomination form needs to be completed by the Programme and signed by the Head of School. The eligibility form must be signed by the nominee and returned (with a copy of their CV if they wish, but CVs alone will not be accepted). Please note that nominees must include any programme / module leadership and design experience in their application.
 
Both forms (and the CV, if included) should be forwarded to the Quality Assurance & Enhancement Office for submission to VRC. The criteria for the appointment of external examiners is included in the Quality Assurance Handbook in section 33.
